Is ISRO in a position to compete with the space organizations of other countries? Where does it rank?

ISRO is one of the biggest contender in space race despite limitations on funding and resources. Many milestones achieved by ISRO like Mars Orbiter Mission, Chandrayaan, 104 satellite launched in orbit on a single rocket put them in the forefront of space race. ISRO might have very less funding in comparison to other major space agency like NASA,JAXA,ROSCOSMOS, ESA, CNSA, CSA but determination of space scientists and there hardwork put ISRO in above elite space groups. There is no ranking system but if I would like to give ISRO a rank and on which most of the people will believe is: 1.NASA 2 ROSCOSMOS 3.CNSA 4.ESA 5.JAXA and ISRO 6.CSA

New study claims that aliens might have lived twice on the moon

Earth's one and only natural satellite have many secrets which are to be revealed. Our moon in ancient times was suitable to support life twice ,one 4 billion years ago and again in 3.5 billion years ago suggested by a study at Washington state University. According to the study it is believed that meteorites from earth with living cells and microbes were carried to the Moon. This was published in the Monday edition of journal Astrobiology . Two planetary scientists have stated in there study that during landing of meteorites on Moon created heat enough to melt ice water in the surface of the moon in water vapours and gases which spewed out from the moon surface and form water pools on moon. The study also stated that there was also stable atmosphere at that time with magnetic field wrapping whole moon enough to safeguard organisms on the moon from solar winds. Dirk Schulze Makuch an astrobiologist at Washington State University said that "There could have ac...
