Is ISRO in a position to compete with the space organizations of other countries? Where does it rank?

ISRO is one of the biggest contender in space race despite limitations on funding and resources. Many milestones achieved by ISRO like Mars Orbiter Mission, Chandrayaan, 104 satellite launched in orbit on a single rocket put them in the forefront of space race. ISRO might have very less funding in comparison to other major space agency like NASA,JAXA,ROSCOSMOS, ESA, CNSA, CSA but determination of space scientists and there hardwork put ISRO in above elite space groups. There is no ranking system but if I would like to give ISRO a rank and on which most of the people will believe is: 1.NASA 2 ROSCOSMOS 3.CNSA 4.ESA 5.JAXA and ISRO 6.CSA

Why Tardigrades are one of the most toughest micro-animal in the world??

We all know about Israel's mission to moon named Beresheet . Mission which was launched with help of SpaceX rocket Falcon 9 B-5 . Unfortunately it crash landed on moon and they loose contact to there lander. But one interesting thing about this mission was that, this mission was also carrying Tardigrades. So Let us know what are these creatures and how much tough they are : They were first described by German Zoologist Johann August Ephraim Goeze in 1773 who called them little water bears .                                                                                                            There official name was given by Italian biologist Lazzaro Spallanzani which is Tardigrada  .Tardigrades are also called as water bears or moss piglets.                                          These tiny little creatures are of half millimeter of size , 5 times the diameter of human hair .          Tardigrades are 8 legged water dweller belongs to kingdom animal

Some interesting facts about space related missions, check how many of them you know !!

Do you ever wondered that how astronauts live in ISS(International Space Station despite of any gravity, atmospheric pressure  and many thing else). If you think the same then you are on the right page We  have seen astronauts wearing big bulky space suits which seems very uncomfortable right... Yes , but that doesn't matter if it is there to make you live in space. So lets start to reveal these secrets one by one 1. Why astronauts wear white color spacesuit?? Photo by  History in HD  on  Unsplash We know everything space scientist do is on purpose right!! As we know that space consist extreme cold and hot temperature, and harmful radiation that can cause system failure of space suit like oxygen supply system, cooling system and suit on board computer and many more. Don't worry about these terms ,we will come to these terms later.  white color reflects most of the incident radiation (mostly from Sun) falling on the suit thus protect the suit to functio

Beans could be grown in space 2021, Astronauts dream to eat fresh food comes true

After successful cultivation of red romaine lettuce (a leaf vegetable) in 2015 , now according to research conducted at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) it is possible to grow beans with help of High-tech planters developed by them. these special planters are capable of regulating  all the essential nutrients, gas and air the plants needs .   Gravity will be simulated by help of centrifuge which is also capable of regulating gravity. Photo by  Mike Kenneally  on  Unsplash Norwegian University of Science and Technology researchers are know collaborating with some other foreign researchers of French and Italian origin to cultivate plant based food for long interplanetary travels . It is  fascinating to know that the longest stays in International Space Station ever is just   six months and for travelling to Mars it will require at least a year , just double!! So we know that with limited supplies from our earth will not be able to help us as

Finally, SpaceX revealed how there starship test vehicle will look like!!

Elon Musk CEO of Space X posted a tweet on Saturday which just increased my and all space lovers happiness. Elon Musk in his tweet posted information about scale down concept of there Starship for interplanetary space travels. The image posted by Elon Musk of Starship test vehicle after Assembly  little bit looks like ships of sci-fi movies which we used to watch in our childhoods. The Starship test vehicle of Elon is currently being assembled at SpaceX. The concept used for testing feasibility of the design will be around 30 feet with shiny stainless steel looking body. The company is expecting to launch this Starship in March or April . The first testing of this formula will be a sub orbital mission with no fancy glass windows and other instruments as it is just a testing of mainly outer design and engines used to lift the vehicle. Space X wants to make sure that there Starship is completely feasible so they can put the design with few alteration to its orbital
